22 Java Applications Using Servlets and JSPs

Oracle Application Server is J2EE 1.3 compatible and can deploy and run any J2EE-based application. Oracle Application Server provides strong support for JSP and servlet applications with fast and efficient execution.

Using Oracle9i JDeveloper or any Java IDE, you can quickly develop Web-based J2EE applications using Java servlets and JSPs. You can then deploy them using Oracle Application Server Containers for J2EE (OC4J).

The OC4J container also supports secure development and deployment of J2EE applications with an implementation of Java Authentication and Authorization Service (JAAS).
