105 Oracle Application Server Single Sign-On

Oracle Application Server Single Sign-On works out of the box for Oracle and third-party applications, the Oracle eBusiness Suite in particular. OracleAS Single Sign-On allows users to login to Oracle Application Server and gain access to those applications for which they are authorized, without having to re-enter a user name and password for each application.

OracleAS Single Sign-On is fully integrated with the Oracle Internet Directory, and supports LDAP-based user and password management through Oracle Internet Directory.

Oracle provides application developers with a flexible set of mechanisms for integrating applications into the OracleAS Single Sign-On framework. Oracle Application Server also supports interoperability with leading third-party single sign-on products, including Netegrity Siteminder TM.
