The Workshop Quick Start Application wizards allow you to create complete application structures including multiple projects, project references and server configurations.
How To Access These Wizards
Select File > New > Project.
In the New Project wizard open the Workshop Quick
Start Applications node and select either:
- Workshop/Beehive Web Application
- WebLogic Web Service Application
How To Use These Wizards
If you select Workshop/Beehive Web Application,
the following will be created:
- Dynamic Web project with the NetUI and related facets
- Utility project that is added to the web project as a J2EE Module
Dependency
- EAR project with a reference to the web project
- Server configuration for WebLogic Server
If you select WebLogic Web Service Application, the following
will be created:
- Web Service project with the annotated web service facet
- Utility project that is added to the web project as a J2EE Module
Dependency
- EAR project with a reference to the web service project
- Server configuration for WebLogic Server
The Server runtime field lets you select different versions
of WebLogic Server.
