You will also need to choose a descriptive\u00a0<strong>Display Name<\/strong>, and enter your\u00a0<strong>Access and Secret<\/strong>\u00a0keys.<\/p>\n<p>These should be available from your\u00a0<strong>Amazon S3<\/strong>\u00a0account, as is the\u00a0<strong>Bucket<\/strong>\u00a0where you will be storing your data. You can either do that or wait until the next scheduled backup to happen. If any errors happen, you will get a notification at the registered email address prompting you to correct what\u2019s wrong.<\/p>\n<p>In the following image we can see that\u00a0<strong>S3 Transfer Acceleration<\/strong>\u00a0is not enabled in the\u00a0<code>tecmint<\/code>\u00a0bucket. To distinguish one from another, a timestamp is added at the end of the path (<strong>20180317152702<\/strong>) as you can see in the above image.<\/p>\n<h3>Restoring Files from Amazon S3<\/h3>\n<p>Of course, backing up our files would be useless if we can\u2019t restore them when we need them. To set up a restoration process, click the\u00a0<strong>Restore<\/strong>\u00a0menu and choose the plan you will be using. Since the steps involved are pretty straightforward, we will not go into detail here. However, let\u2019s summarize the steps as a quick reference:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Indicate restore method<\/strong>: restore once (when you press\u00a0<strong>Finish<\/strong>\u00a0in the last wizard step) or create a\u00a0<strong>Restore<\/strong>plan to run at a specified time.<\/li>\n<li>If you are storing multiple versions of your file(s), you will need to tell\u00a0<strong>CloudBerry<\/strong>\u00a0if you want to restore the latest version or the one at a specific point in time.<\/li>\n<li>Specify the file(s) and directories you want to restore.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the decryption password. This is the same that was used to encrypt the file(s) in the first place.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once done, the restore will be performed automatically.
