This new version comes with these features and they are:<\/p>\n<h3>Thunderbird 45.6.0 Features<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>The system integration dialog was shown every time when starting Thunderbird<\/li>\n<li>Various bug fixes and improvements in performance.<\/li>\n<li>Various security fixes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Check out more about what\u2019s new features and known issues for\u00a0<strong>Thunderbird 45.6.0<\/strong>\u00a0version at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mozilla.org\/en-US\/thunderbird\/45.6.0\/releasenotes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Thunderbird Release Note<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This article will explain you how to install Thunderbird email client on Linux distributions such as\u00a0<strong>Fedora<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Ubuntu<\/strong>and its derivatives.<\/p>\n<p>In many Linux distributions Thunderbird package included by default, and can be installed using the default package management system, because it will:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Ensure that you have all the needed libraries<\/li>\n<li>Adds a Desktop shortcut to launch Thunderbird<\/li>\n<li>Make Thunderbird accessible to all system users on your computer<\/li>\n<li>It may not offer you the latest version of Thunderbird<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Install Thunderbird Email Client in Linux<\/h3>\n<p>To install\u00a0<strong>Thunderbird<\/strong>\u00a0from the default system repositories issue:<\/p>\n<pre>$ sudo apt-get install thunderbird   [On <strong>Ubuntu<\/strong> based systems]\r\n$ dnf install thunderbird            [On <strong>Fedora<\/strong> based systems]\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>As I said, installing from default repositories will give you older version of Thunderbird.
