The addition of the feature allows users<br \/>\nto easily work with their containers from the web UI in a much more<br \/>\ninvolved way. Previously, there was no way to track the output of a<br \/>\ncontainer through Rancher. Now you can easily follow both the Std out<br \/>\nand Std error of a container. This is the first step in adding more<br \/>\nadvanced log management capabilities to Rancher. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/KnPtuZg.png\" alt=\"Container\nUI\" \/> You can see the new<br \/>\nfeature when you look at any container in Rancher. In the top left of<br \/>\nthe container screen you will see several icons for taking actions on a<br \/>\ncontainer. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/kT9cnBp.png\" alt=\"Container\nActions\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/GVEqVoh.png\" alt=\"Container Actions Stopping\nState\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/vYvWrk5.png\" alt=\"Container Actions\nStopped\" \/><br \/>\nClicking on the: <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/LNyv18C.png\" alt=\"Logs\nIcon\" \/> will allow you to<br \/>\nview the container logs screen. We have two ways of displaying<br \/>\ncontainer\u2019s logs. One where the logs are combined: <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/vWTrMqJ.png\" alt=\"Container Logs\nScreen With\nTTY\" \/><br \/>\nAnd another where logs are separated between standard error and standard<br \/>\nout. This is available when a container is created without the tty flah<br \/>\nselected. Combined:<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/G1FEANG.png\" alt=\"Container Logs Screen Without\nTTY\" \/><br \/>\nJust Std Out:<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/KNG1nHU.png\" alt=\"Container Logs Screen Without Just Std\nOut\" \/><br \/>\nJust Std Error:<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/UdDdggy.png\" alt=\"Container Logs Screen Without Just Std\nError\" \/><br \/>\nI hope that this new functionality in Rancher enables better management<br \/>\nof your containers, and please stay tuned, we\u2019re going to be adding a<br \/>\nnumber of other capabilities around log management in the future. If<br \/>\nyou\u2019d like to see this or any other Rancher functionality. Please<br \/>\ndon\u2019t hesitate to schedule a one on one demo, where we can walk you<br \/>\nthrough the current features, and some of the capabilities we\u2019re still<br \/>\nworking on.
