setHelpContextID

public void setHelpContextID(java.lang.String strHelpContextID)

Specifies the Help context ID associated with the implementor of this interface. In most cases, the default Help context ID can be specified as the full class path for the implementor of this interface. This Help context ID is used to enable help systems to map a particular component to the proper help topic.

Parameters:

strHelpContextID - a String value that represents the Help context ID.

getHelpProvider

public oracle.bali.ewt.help.HelpProvider getHelpProvider()

Retrieves the HelpProvider.

Returns:

The HelpProvider.

setHelpProvider

public void setHelpProvider(oracle.bali.ewt.help.HelpProvider helpProvider)

Specifies the HelpProvider.

Parameters:

helpProvider - The HelpProvider.

getCurrentDirectory

public javax.naming.directory.DirContext getCurrentDirectory()

Retrieves the current directory. Application developers should call the method in the subclass.

Returns:

The directory to which the user has navigated.

getLocale

public java.util.Locale getLocale()

Retrieves the locale that has been specified for this component. This method returns the locale that was specified in the setLocale method or the default locale if none are specified.

setLocale

public void setLocale(java.util.Locale locale)

Specifies the locale for this component. The locale specified in this method takes precedence over the default locale setting. This method differs from the java.lang.util.Locale.setLocale method, in that this method sets the locale only for this instance of the PersistenceObjectChooser.

The locale setting affects the text that is displayed and the date format, when details are displayed.

setRootName

Sets the display name for the root directory.
