HTTP_USER_AGENT

Retrieves the client browser type, version number, library, and platform the browser is configured for.

Type and Usage

Output

Returns a string in the format software/version (library) (platform).

Example

As information output on a page or to a log:

HTTP_USER_AGENT=Mozilla/4.7 [en] (WinNT; U)

As part of an Idoc Script statement or evaluation:
