This pacakge includes the platform networking interfaces which have been modified for use on platforms that support message connections.
This package includes the Connector
class from MIDP 2.0. This
class includes SecurityException
as an expected return from calls
to open()
which may require explicit authorization to connect.
When the message connection is implemented on a MIDP 1.0 platform, the SecurityException
can be provided by a platform-dependent authorization mechanism. For example,
the user might be prompted to ask if the application can send a message
and the user's denial interpretted as a SecurityException
.
